Oh man, I really want to know what's going on in Uther's head. I can see him making a snap decision to cast out the child that killed his beloved wife, only now he's constantly confronted with his rejected heir and his wife's tarnished name and he can't ever make it right again. Because what kind of man would do something like that?
Or maybe by now he's convinced himself his lies are the truth.

And I keep expecting Nimueh to expose him, although she hasn't in canon.... (Gaius and the librarian know the truth as well for that matter)

Oh this was awesome! At the "newt" bit I was thinking Monty Python, but I wasn't sure if it was intentional until I read "shrubbery." Yay for Arthur figuring it out! I was thinking it was odd that no one noticed in the episode that the knife slowed down.
