Notes: This one was especially hard to write. orz I apologize for not writing anything for this claim in an eternity and a half, but I’ve got inspiration for these two once again.
If Desirée DeLite considered herself anything, it would have been sensible.
She wasn’t one to keep her head within the clouds or to stray from her priorities. Her heart was in the right place, really.
Somewhere along the line, however, she had apparently made a mistake.
She could chalk her feelings up to pure physical attraction, but even that would be an admission of adulterous thoughts. She was catalogued under a somewhat promiscuous stereotype, but she felt as though it was her duty to defy said stereotype and prove that she didn’t fit into a prescribed role.
Still, she was utterly captivated. Her heart skipped beats whenever her mind drifted towards that one prosecutor. There was no way to prevent it, no way to stop her gaze from shifting towards him.
It was the sweetest wound she had ever received.
