Hey guys! After struggling with my website this weekend like Hercules with his tasks or whatever, I finally got my ALL UNQUIET THINGS excerpt to post. I actually typed it off my pass pages, so it's as finished as it's probably getting. Answered my own questions, which I should always try to do before commenting. A) Yes, it was just me. B) I think it was because I was linking from The Tenners site and something was getting "lost in translation" to Mozilla (it worked fine if I went directly to your website and then your blog). C) It wasn't an LJ blog at all.

LOL. Glad you loved the excerpt! And also, I think you're right about not being able to comment on my LJ, even though the excerpt isn't posted there. I don't know why that is, although I suspect it has something to do with the LJ plugin for WordPress b/c after I installed it I notice you can't comment on any of the blogs imported from annajarzab.com. Hm, must consult my web guy about this. Thanks Kimberly!

Maybe that was my problem...I read it this morning from my Friends' pages before you'd posted on The Tenners site, and I felt like a total techtard (which is exactly what I am!) trying to search for a way to comment about how much I liked it!

Sorry so late to post on this - just catching up after a buncha days away. I really, really enjoyed the excerpt. Tone/voice are so compelling - reminded me a little of The Secret History which, of course, is awesome. Very much looking forward to reading the rest!

It's funny that you say that, because my agent pitched AUT as "Looking for Alaska meets The Secret History" and her boss called it "The Secret History in high school", but I always thought the connection was tenuous at best. Shows what I know! :) Thanks Jen!
