Photograph of the Oldest Man?

I saw a photograph on tumblr yesterday purporting to be a photo of the earliest born person ever taken. Anyway I wanted to try and verify it before I posted it to the comm and I came across this Telegraph blog debating the subject! It's not something I'd ever considered before but the idea of a photograph of someone born in the 1740s (if true) is

Makes you realise that it isn't really all that long ago. *shakes head* I wrote a story once that included memories of WW1 and in a conversation in comments, mentioned that both my grandfathers fought right through those years. The person I was talking to replied that his/her grandfather had been too young for WW2.
