This is one emotion that could work in different ways, Oshitari Yuushi thought. Usually he would listen politely to whatever his second year girlfriend would say. But even he had limits.
Recently, all the topics which came out of her mouth were about other guys. Especially that one. He didn’t care about that cocky brat.
“Then Ryoma-kun beat all the players from Ginka! With tennis of course, not his fists. But isn’t he just great? I wonder how he’s doing now…”
Oshitari felt his the corner of his lip twitch. He didn’t like this - actually, he didn’t like the attention Echizen was getting. It was always ‘Ryoma-kun this’ and ‘Ryoma-kun that’ it was never, ‘How was your day, Yuushi-kun?’ or ‘How did practice go?’...Okay so it usually was but it wasn’t like that for the past few days.
When the dark haired male cleared his minds of such thoughts, he noticed the quiet. Glancing at the shorter girl, Oshitari found her eyes filled with sadness. Even though he didn’t care for Echizen, he cared for Sakuno. And it was pretty clear she was upset.
He stopped walking long the park’s cement path and reached for her hand. Her surprise was noted as she was crushed into his chest by his arms. Placing his chin on the top of her head, he asked if she was really liked him.
When she gave him a positive reply, Oshitari felt twitching lips yet again. Though he didn’t show it, the tennis player was hoping that she would say it was a minor crush. But sadly, it wasn’t the case.
After staying still for a while, Sakuno looked up at him and smiled.
“Thank you, Yuushi-kun. You’re the best.”
Oshitari smirked triumphantly and hid it so she wouldn’t see.
“Did you want to go see a movie?” The girl eagerly nodded.

“Wow...It's so big...”
Sakuno looked around at the quality of the theater.
“Haven’t you been here before?”
Oshitari asked, feeding her a piece of popcorn. “Not this one! No thank you, I’m fine.”
But the boy wouldn’t take no for an answer for he was stuffing into her mouth.
“Yuushi-kun!”
He grinned before giving the girl a lingering kiss on the lips. They broke apart when the lights dimmed and grinned at each other before turning towards the movie.
About ten minutes in, the protagonist received his close-up. Sakuno’s eyes widened.
“Yuushi-kun! That boy looks like Ryoma-kun! Wow...Isn’t that great? Yuushi-kun? Ah! Yuushi-kun! Here, drink some of my coke!”
