I wanted not to read but couldn't stop myself.

At least he did it with pain in his heart...and is aware of the hurt, instead of trying to convince himself it didn't matter. That would have made this just that much more terrible.

IknowIknowIknow. *HUGS* I need to write a fluffy fun funny one now but things are feeling wierd.

My mind set is in survival mode and it's a place of gritty difficult images that call for the need to be put one foot before the other.

I love you Charis! Survival is necessary and sometimes hard choices are called for. Sometimes the mind is stuck there and fluff is just not what comes out, no matter how hard we wish it.

Yep, was relieved we'd been talking of going there for food about that time. I'm Veggie but still....horrid thought.

This was common in the city where I grew up. There were a rash of reports of closures for this reason and it wasn't only cats but dogs too. Yes, cuddle Ratbag. Glad he is safe home with you.
