Awww. Bittersweet indeed. I like the line the same loneliness and loss that's in her soul is burned across his as well. That's pretty poignant and gets so much across in so little space.

Thank you! I didn't intend this to be quite so bittersweet when I started, but Chaya turned out to be a very sad narrator! And the more I thought about it, the more I realised how alike they were.
