I'm so glad to hear that. Sometimes, it's felt like shouting into a chasm. I figured to end it while I was still enjoying it, instead of when I couldn't stand it any more, if that makes sense.

I'm going to miss it, but I'm also probably going to keep posting to the old prompts, slowly in various trickles. Thank you for your work here. This was a special community for me and kept me writing when I needed it most. Plus, I met you!

I'm so sorry to hear it's ending. Thank you for running it for so long and for inspiring so many. I'm sure I'll continue to post for old prompts here (I actually have several I've been meaning to post, but they're on a computer I don't have access to right now) and also to comment when I see something new for a fandom I know. :)

I'm afraid not - I do usually write longer stories, but 1,000 words is not something I can absolutely promise someone (it's why most of the lj challenges I've come across aren't open to me :/). I'm also co-running a competition this summer, so all my energies are going into that. Thank you for the invitation, though, and good luck with the exchange! :)
