Title: Why It Is Worth It ’Verse/characters: ot4 (daniel and nash) Prompt: 38 - touch Word Count: 534 Rating: nc-17 Author's Notes: kind of a prequel to this. san francisco era.
i actually have no idea where this falls on the timeline, if it's before they break up (so to speak) or after. but it does kind of show one reason nash always takes daniel for granted, and that's because daniel lets him, because sometimes it's worth it. it's worth a lot to know that nash could probably have anyone, but he shows up at daniel's apartment because daniel is the one he wants. but on the other hand, sometimes daniel hates being taken advantage of, and there's nothing to make it ok that nash takes him for granted.
i think it's less you being hypersensitive and more that you know more of the story than they do. :D
well, for a given value of "break up" that means "daniel gets tired of nash's shit and tells him fuck off, and nash kind of freaks out when daniel doesn't take it back". not that i have any clue what the breaking point actually is.... just that there is one.
