Aww. ♥

[I never looked for Narnia in any wardrobes. I did, however, pretend to be Eowyn when I was eight. I was very annoyed that I didn't have a horse.]

megan: don't give him any ideas.

francis: eowyn's a girl. i wanna be gandalf. he gets to come back from the dead.

i didn't get to read lotr until i was eleven, and i have a sneaking suspicion i wanted to be a hobbit. i might have been a weird child.

This is adorable. I love it. :-) I hope that Francis' dads listen to Megan's speech. I really like Megan.

dads: pfft. we never listen to her. :D

the boys have absolutely no problem with francis trying to find narnia by looking in all their closets. it's just megan who worries. and thank you. :D

nash; just wait. >:D

francis: ^_^

megan: >.<

i think he graduates to trying to send things into space. like, launching rockets off the back deck. his mother is unpleased. he just wishes there was a way to launch one from the top of the transamerica tower....

Just so you know (a few days after the fact, granted), my mother had read the Narnia Chronicles to my sister and I by the time she was six and I was four. I didn't actually understand any of it, but my sister definitely did, so perhaps Francis would, too.

"I don't think I like Turkish Delight." Awwwww! I love six-year-olds so much; they do talk and act like that, which is so great!

i don't remember how old i was when i read it, just that i was older than six. so that's good to know.

writing this made me want some turkish delight, because i'm just that suggestible. i'm glad you liked it. :D
