I have one question before I decide.

*headdesk*

You say it's ok to write original characters. Can I use this challenge to write and post original fiction not necessarily associated with a particular fandom?

Oh, yes. Most definitely - thank you for asking, I'll tweak the FAQs to make that clear.

You appear to have the prompt 'leaving' twice (#65 and #92, to be precise). Is this a typo, or do we really have to write two fics on this theme?

ARGH!!!!!!

I guess that answers your question, does it not? *Sighs heavily*

I don't know how many times I read and re-read and re-re-read the darn table for duplicate prompts.

What to do?

I know no one has posted yet, but there have been claims.

Um - I'll make a speedy decision and post to the Comm.

Thank you for that.

I have a question, would using wrestlers and divas be considered RPF? Some of them use their real names but how it works is they have storylines and such so it's not like it really their personalities...^.^;;; if that made an sense. I'm sorry.

Apologies for the delay in answering this.

If they are actual real wrestlers and divas (in the same way as tennis players and football players are real people) rather than actors playing a part, then yes, I'm afraid they do constitute real people.

Hey, I'd like to ask one question before I sign up. :)
Do I have to write every single fic in english or would it be okay to (for example) 50 fics in english and 50 fics in german/russian/french/whatever?

I'm more than happy for you to write some stories in another language.

All I would ask is that:

a) The header is in English
b) You put an 'Author's Note' mentioning that the story is in whatever language it's in.

I hope this answers your question.

I'm glad.

And you are very welcome.

My aim is to make these challenges as all encompassing and open to all as I can. yes, there's a challenge, but they should also be fun and have a limit number of rules, etc.

hi, I'm very tempted to join (I shouldn't, really I shouldn't! but who needs sleep anyway? lol) but I'm not sure how I get the table into my livejournal for you to link.

Also, at some point I will be going into hospital for a few months (estimated three to five months) and I don't know what sort of internet, if any, I'll have, so I may vanish off the face fo the earth (but I'll be coming back). Is that ok?

Hi there,

*Tempts you* I know that feeling well, actually *g* I'm far too easily tempted into these things.

Okay, to get the table into your own LJ you just go here. And then you'll see the table in full and beneath it is a smallish white box with text in it. Just put your cursor into the box and do:

Ctrl A (to select it all.
Then Ctrl C to copy it.
Go to however you post to LJ, be it via LJ or via a Client and Ctrl V. That will put the code into a post. Post it to your LJ and then copy and paste the link into the sign-up comment.

I'm sorry to hear you have to go into hospital. I do hope it all goes well and you make a full recovery. And yes, it's fine if you vanish, there's no time constraints at all here.

Thank you for your interest.

Nikki

thanks for the help (although it's not gonna help my tv addiction lol)

it looks a bit elongated, but my layout tend to do funny things, so i'll have a go at adjusting that at some stage.

You're very welcome, I do what I can to aid *g*

Hmmm, that's very odd. There's a huge gap at the top. I would have said it was your layout, but I flipped it to my style and it still looks hinky.

However, I've just copy and pasted it to my LJ (I'm doing the challenge anyway, and the table is fine and no one has reported problems, but I swear HTML coding has a life of its own) and it's fine - just as it should be. How very curious.

It's as if you've somehow missed copying one teeny < or > or something like that. But it's weird.
