Thank you. Saturation is not normally a parameter I care to push, but that cat (a stray in the neighborhood) is so perfectly colorless that it was fun to watch him stay gray while everything around him grew lurid. :D

Thanks! Glad you like them. My camera is a Sony Cybershot DSC-H20. It's got a larger light sensor than is typical for point-and-shoots (so I understand) and I've been very pleased with it for the price. It has a bag full of semi-manual settings that I haven't begun to explore yet.

(On "Bold," my image processing software is GIMP.)
