Hey girl, I know you got a job at Ulta recently and I have a couple of questions for you if you don't mind. I'm considering selling my house & moving back home and I saw that the local Ulta in my hometown is hiring. I was curious if you could give the + / -'s of working there. I know you are new there but still I am trying to find out as much about it as I can because selling my house and moving back home is quite a major step. :) Is the pay there good? I havne't started yet, I will be next week. The pay isn't good, though. I am starting at 8 which is not so great since i have been making 12 at my old job, but i don't need to worry too much about money. I split as much as my boyfriend will let me with him. heh. I will update you when I start. I'm sure it is a fine job. I am going to get to do makeup which is better than assisting with bloddy dental procedures. It's retail so i'm sue the negatives will be pretty sucky, but expected.
I figured the pay would be like most standard retail jobs. I live in Oklahoma so who knows what it is here. I currently make really, really good money but I live about 1 1/2 hours from where I am considering moving again. Please keep me updated about how you like it, etc. I don't mean to be like online stalker or spilling my life to you but, I'm wanting to make some rather LARGE life changes and working there would be one of my options. I don't want to end up kicking myself in the ass.... not that your view on Ulta is really going to define what I do... haha, but you know what I mean. Oh, my friend said she is making 9.20 there as a prestige artist. She has been there a year so, either she has had a few raises or they start at different wages all over. She lives in Texas im in NY. I don't know. 8 is reallllly ridiculous, I think 9 would be fair. I will maybe complain after a month or two. I just want the expierience and to see if i like it, before i pass it up..and it's so close to my house, so i don't need to worry about gas, too much.
