All right. This... was inspired by a few beautiful pieces of artwork (NOT HP fanart) I saw online, by two of my favourite artists. Might be considered semi-AU. Inspiration for Montague and for Angelina. The first picture is by Katherine Dinger, the second by Linda Bergkvist. God, that was perfect. I felt like I was there in the alley, watching it all take place. The whole thing had a film noir feel to it, dark and dangerous.

It must be that school has fried my brain, but I don't see the ending as sad, at least not for Angelina. It's all over for her and now she gets some peace.

Thanks. I think that the "Angelina" inspiration picture made me channel a kind of Sin City (the movie, not Las Vegas) vibe, and... yeah.

I suppose it's not COMPLETELY sad for Angelina, but of course a part of me still wishes t00bily that Montague could've busted her out, run away with her to Tahiti, and produce adorable Quidditch-obsessed offspring :D
