Here is the Other Creations post for 2024. This is not for counting on the comm, and won't be included in the year's total figures, but since so many of us are creative in other ways, we thought it would be fun to talk about those things and encourage each other through the year.
We are going to do this slightly differently this year. Dreamy suggested that maybe if we just come in here to let others know when we've made something/done something that is a creative achievement to us personally (that isn't words or graphics counted on those posts), maybe it would get better use. And I think she's right! Others can then reply to your comment/s, showing their admiration, offering encouragement or advice, and so on.
Post pictures in your comment too, or links to show off your creations, but only if you want!
I also think you should be able to come here if you want advice or help with something you're making. Do you crochet or knit or any other darn thing? Are you new to it and need a guide or tip about something? ASK in a comment here! We have so many talented people in this comm; someone will probably have helpful answers or can point you to a YT tutorial or website, or something, that will be useful! And anyone here can answer with helpful advice; please do! All I ask is that you are polite (the old 'if you can't say something nice, don't say anything' applies), which I know you are all good with!
So...
Tell us about things you've made, created, built, knitted, crocheted, sewed, sculpted, painted, designed, grew, or any other description you care to add in here. As long as it's something you contributed to in some way, but doesn't fall into the categories 'words' and/or 'graphics' that we count in those counters, you can tell us about it here!
Update us when it's convenient, whether this is the end of each month, once for the whole year, or as you create things. It doesn't matter when, as it won't be in any count on the comm. This post is for fun and interest ONLY!
Follow this post if you want to be updated as people add in their creations, or just read through when you come to post about your own, and reply to their original comment with your helpful thoughts/advice/compliments!
Let's all be creative, everyone! ;-)
