I'm alive! I'm at home!
The surgery was a failure. Everything is still where it was, minus 2L of fluid. Back to Toronto.

I KNOW

But the cyst has nothing to do with my ovary so they went \O_o/ and sewed me back up rather than risk going in where they weren't prepared. Originally the pain was in my kidneys, so guess what the cyst is sitting on? yaaaaaaay. =_=

So they just.. opened you up and did nothing? Man. I can't even begin to imagine what kind of rageface you gave them when you woke up expecting results.

idk. intellectually, i understand why they didn't want to do something they weren't prepared for. it's the emotional side that i have to deal with. be strong, when i'm characteristically not.

I can respect their decision granted the treacherous area of the cyst; it's easier to say it when you're not the one being operated on. I bow to your calm and grit, I really do; I think I would be throwing rocks around by now had it been me, even knowing it was the right thing to do.

Why? I've been treated well. I don't blame them for not getting the cyst's location the first time given ovarian cysts are very common for my age, and it was huge.
