[There's a terrified voice echoing through the seals.]

T-the spiders... they're gone, aren't they?

[She's just making sure!

Princesses don't really like spiders, you know?

Besides it's hard to fight off spiders with a sword...]

i'm not afraid i'm not afraid, *yeager, spiders everywhere, princesses don't like spiders, *yukio okumura, not so brave princess, *yorda, *alma karma

...I'm glad.

I still don't understand what was the meaning of this...

[this sudden spider attack.]

I imagine that's the sort of thing Libitina has in mind when she talks about "play".

Yes, but usually such things would last for a week, wouldn't they?

I suppose... but it seems unlikely that anything or anyone else could be responsible for a twenty-four hour spider invasion.

Yes, I agree. But still it makes me wonder why she decided to attack us with spiders only for one day...

... Ah, it's a holiday in my world. It's not as common where I'm from, but it has roots in ancient religions and folklore. Nowadays children dress up in costumes and collect candy from their neighbors to celebrate.

Even if they did, they surely wouldn't allow me us to participate...

Probably not, but it couldn't hurt to celebrate our own holidays here when we can.
