For some reason, reading it through this time I suddenly got this picture in my head of Jeff practically chewing on Lisa Rinna's shoulder in Art of Discourse. I can't stop laughing.

Jeff grips at her jaw and trails the fingertips of his other hand over her lips, his eyes open wide as if he can see it when Annie parts her lips and takes two of his fingers into her mouth. She sighs when he plays at her tongue and then slides his fingers deeper and she closes her lips and sucks.

THIS IS SO FUCKING HOT I CAN'T EVEN DEAL.

“I like it when you swear,” she murmurs back,

SO DO I. SO MANY LOST OPPORTUNITIES BY THE SHOW NOT BEING ON HBO.

“You’re fun,” he sighs.

“You’re hot,” she blurts out in reply.

Jeff laughs again.

“You’re also horrible for my staying power. It’s embarrassing how fast you can get me off.”

This entire exchange delights me. I love that he admits that to her. It's an honest and open moment for Jeff and it's little stuff like this that make it seem inevitable that they're going to end up sexing their way into and actual relationship.

“You and me baby.”

You have completely redefined sexy dialogue. I thought I knew what good bedroom banter was, but turns out I was wrong, wrong, wrong. THIS is how it is done. (And let's face it, Jeff has a wicked sexy voice, so having that fact in my mind while reading this... yeah, that helped.)

For some reason, this line? Absolutely slayed me:

“More,” she hears herself gasp, her fingers trailing at his arm.

“Yes baby,” he growls, clutching at her thighs and hips impatiently.

Something about the urgency of it, coupled with him unexpectedly calling her baby, just.... Yeah. You can do that again.

The dialogue was such a big part of this one, between Jeff's drunkenly enthused rambling in the first part, and especially Annie feeling her way through dirty talk in the second part (with a few assists from Jeff along the way), so I'm SO GLAD it worked for you! I lovelovelove writing dialogue for them so I'm super happy when it works for peoplel :)
