1. "Evil Woman" played on the radio on the way to L.A. for the taping.

2. My car broke. The exhaust line came apart so it was very noisy on the drive home.

3. I got lost. But only a little bit, and GPS saved me.

I didn't notice the scar before, but since I got to stand REALLY EFFING CLOSE TO HIM (srsly, now that I'm thinking about it, it might have been creepy? But he didn't step back or anything, and I don't remember stepping forward, so maybe not creepy? I don't even care that I don't know at this point. I was kind of mesmerized by how big and pretty his eyes were.) that it stood out.

IT'S SO CRAZY ABOUT BNL I CAN'T STAND IT.

I adore that Evil Woman was playing on your way there! I love when little things like that just click...fantastic.

So glad to hear you had such a great time...and that Joel was in fine and lovely form...and thank you for letting me live vicariously through you for just a bit :)

HAH! I love that the epic-ness of that joke is extending through second-hand tellings :) It was truly hilarious.

He really was lovely. You could tell he was so tired, but he was very nice to take the time for pictures afterwards.

Also he's pretty as hell.

I'm glad you ladies enjoyed yourself! What was the best part? Witnessing the show being created--how often did he screw up, by the way? TELL ME ALL OF HIS FAULTS, ahem--or the photo op? Or that moment you Tweeted about where he was called over--WHAT IS THAT ABOUT, HM-HM-HM?! Holding out on the good stuff?

Oh, and this:

Joel told us he recently started walking into rooms and singing/yelling "IT'S BEEN!" and then leaving everyone with "One Week" by the Barenaked Ladies stuck in their heads.

...is the most wonderful combination of obnoxious and AMAZING.

There were only a few takes he had to do more than once because he couldn't get a line. (When you're watching and the audience applauds more than laughs, that's usually one of the times, lol ( ... )

Okay, creeping here from the MM comm, and can I say I am OMFG jealous right now? I usually don't care about seeing any celeb in person, but I would kill to see a taping of The Soup or one of Joel's shows. I DON'T EVEN KNOW.

Post pics! The finished show on Friday was good, I thought - maybe because the writers had had a break?
