Strangely, I agree with all of your points re: BSG and SPN. I think they were a lot more rational and reasoned out than some fan reactions which really was just a lot of shouting and people going WTF-Fuckity-FUCK, dude ( ... )

Huh.

To be fair, it's really just BSG that actually bothered me enough to not enjoy the episode (once they got to Earth anyway), and that's not so much 'race/sexuality/gender' issues as sheer logical DOES NOT COMPUTE issues. And a kneejerk reaction to any science fiction seriously positing that God is the answer to everything. There were so many more things about it that made me go all 'wtf makes no sense', and I unfortunately hold BSG to a higher standard than most shows. Sucks for them.

Hera though, OMG, so adorable. She reminds me way too much of my little sister, so I just wanted to HUG HER and go AAAWWWW all the time. And then give her noogies.

LOL torture, on the other hand, was pretty fun. : ) It was really entertaining, and honestly, that's all I really expect from them. Which is a much healthier way to watch tv in general. *nods*

And thanks to your hilarious typo, I can't think of Castiel without thinking of Spain now. This isn't necessarily a bad thing.
