Il y a quelques semaines, j'ai promis à lolryne d'écrire une fic Merlin pour elle. Et je tiens toujours mes promesse! Désolée que c'est tellement en retard, sweety, mais j'éspère qu'il te fait plaîsir quand même! ♥

It's been a while now, but once upon a time I promised lolryne to write her a Merlin-fic. And I always keep my promises! I'm sorry that this is so

That was great. Loved that Arthur was fighting Merlin the whole time, trying to get back to his father, trying to die. Loved that Arthur made him a knight. Well done.

Oh, I'm so relieved that you think it's a good idea that Arthur made Merlin a knight. I've been wanting to write that forever, and then it just snuck its way into this fic, but I was afraid that it would seem too sudden and out of context for the reader. At the same time, I love the analogy - Merlin declared a knight with almost the same words with which Morgana was declared to be Queen.

Also very relieved that you like the idea of Arthur trying to die. I watched Bradley's excellent face-acting at the end of 3.12, and it left me under the impression that Arthur was about to either kill someone else or himself. Which makes quite a bit of sense -- imagine your only parent was facing humiliation and then death, by the girl you loved like a sister, nevertheless. Uh oh. Not good.

Enough rambling, though. Thank you very, very much! :) I hope you'll enjoy the rest of parts as well -- I'm just about to post the next part.
