Why does flickr not read the GPS coordinates out of photos that I upload that already have that data?

It's another hoop to jump through to getting things done but I appreciate the caution. Of course, I don't geotag. ;)

I love the idea. Not for every photo I ever take. But for waymarking photos...I think it's really cool.
