Just awesome writing and, I gotta say, I commend you for writing in first person as much as you do. I tend to find that a bit intimidating -- afraid of injecting too much of myself into the character maybe....
Anyway. Haven't heard from you in a bit -- working on something fun? I've got a couple irons back in the fire after a crazy couple weeks finally....

Pretty sure that this is one of the first first-person pieces that I ever seriously tackled, and there are definitely spots where the awkwardness bleeds through, but as with most things there are bits that I really love, too.
Sorry I haven’t got back to you for a little while. I am working on it, really, but between a sudden influx of RL, and -yes- a couple of things that I’m trying to drag kicking and screaming into the harsh light of day I haven’t really had much free time on my hands at all.
Really glad to hear that you’re hammering away at a couple of things, though.
