  • I've usually been indifferent when it comes to the Olympics, but all of a sudden I'm finding myself really invested this year. Go USA!

  • I don't talk about movies all that much here, even though it's usually what takes up most of my time and energy. Anyway, I'm a little behind and just noticed the news about Colin Firth in Dorian Gray with the ( Read more... )

I'm looking forward to Dorian Gray too. Hoping I can read the book first though. Ben Barnes looks perfect for the role, somehow. And Colin Firth is always a plus!

Oh, I can't wait to read your review of it whenever you get the chance to read the book!

Hi there!

Colin Firth in Dorian Gray... yep I'm there. It's not my favorite book but it could turn into a potentially interesting movie I think.

I'm happy to see it get the (hopefully) quality treatment. It seems odd to me that there hasn't been a really good version out, and having Colin Firth in it is what's going to seal the deal for me.

ah it's the exact opposite for me with the Olympics this time, it's like I couldn't care less. maybe that's because my country sucks in every competition possible lol x)

I'm so excited about Dorian Gray! the cast is fab! ^^

I really care about wanting the US to win stuff, but I don't actually care about watching any of the events. I'm more concerned with the "medal count" on my Yahoo frontpage, lol.

I used to love watching the gymnastics when I was a kid. But now, the Olympics bore me. It makes me kind of sad. :<

Then again, I think it's because I don't want to watch people injuring themselves or falling on their butts again, haha.

I've never been into watching them, I'm more invested in the "medal count" on my Yahoo frontpage. This is terrible, I know.

I'm really looking forward to more news about this.
I read about this the other day and I thought that movie should have been made much sooner. I mean I suppose there is a BBC version or something, but I never heard of a big study production.
Ben Barnes (is that his name? O.o) is also the perfect Dorian. I am happy when the casting fits the story.

I'm surprised it hasn't had the big-budget type of treatment already (that I know of). Ben Barnes isn't the type I pictured when I read it (the fair hair and all), but he's still a really good choice.
