My biggest question following the episode, Do I still ship saxon? they are wonderful together but it seems like he hit her and thats something i can't encourage. I'm torn. I need 'make it all better fic' right now. Is it Lucy that pics up the Ring? Is she still the faithful companion and this was the contingency plan all along? If anyone important

And yes, Sally Sparrow would rock.
Overall, tLotTL was a major anti climax considering the work that was put into Utoptia and tSoD but it still knocked the socks off last years finale - although Rose's bow out still me cry! :(
I can't believe the OG was spot on with FoB - I mean, yeah great joke, but lol, when it happened! Makes me wonder even more what happened to the penis of boe... (sorry......)
Sorry done a bit of an essay here!

doomsday was better than last of the time lords. The best new who episode is still parting of the ways for me though.
I guess only jack could have children when having no genetalia to speak of and being pickled! I guess he isn't the last of boe kind after all he is the only boe ever!

I'll have to re-watch this episode again... especially the last part of the episode. I would love it if RTD has plans of bringing back Lucy, since it appears as if she were the one who picked up his ring and, like you said, it would be great to get more of a back-story on her and how the Master helped her father.
I'd also love to see Sally Sparrow as the next companion!!

Character development has always been a issue when it comes to Martha. I can see how leaving the Doctor to possibly get involved with another doctor is basically repetitive for her character but if we get a Martha with no crush on the Doctor I'll be happy.
Also her family were meant to be an issue of her leaving and other than her parents reuniting i don't see how thats changed either. Were they suppose to be? Because, like you, I didn't really think they were much of an issue at the end. I mean sure it's great her parents are back together again (the Doctor has a habit of getting into situations that bring parents back together) but at the end, before Martha said goodbye, I got the feeling that her parents thought she was leaving with the Doctor ( ... )

As for Jack = Face of Boe, I feel kind of bad now because I never really liked the big old Boe Face, but now of course I do, haha. I actually liked this episode overall, minus being at first terribly confused on how the Doctor was revived Tinkerbell style.
