e has been on record saying he doesn't think the doctor who cry because it would make us think less of him. Now thats an alpha male talking

Do you know where I could find a quote for that?

I am attempting to explain (in small words) why SM may well be a bad thing to one of my friends.

I think it was somewhere in DWM after GITF. When asked why the Doctor didn't cry at the end. You would be better asking Larissa J I think she has the most Moffat hating quotes :p

Hehe, I'm a sad, masochistic person, really.

The Doctor's not exactly a cry-baby, but when he does it really means something, it doesn't make anyone think less of him, surely. Ugh. Moffat reminds me more and more of both my father and the silly teenage Army-barmy boys at college.

character assassination
Glad someone found the perfect way to discribe what he did to that episode. I know everyone is over the moon about himtaking over, but i'm just as worried about the doctor getting less and less attached to people. And once he takes over, it may also be the last we ever hear any rose refrences DX (sigh)
Russel can be alittle off sometimes, but his heart is in the right place, and he's the biggest rose/doctor shipper out there! man, I'm starting to dread this change more and more....it's like regenration. 0_0

Yes that sounds rather bad to me too. I've never heard that before. I really enjoy his writing and am excited to have him as show runner. I just hope he is as talented a show runner as he is writer and that he won't be as much of jerk as RTD.

As do Smallville, I haven't seen any of this season having left the fandom in season five. I check in on the plots to see what's going on and I was just wondering if you could tell me how they got rid of Lex. Since Michael is leaving the show. I know Kristin is leaving also but has a few more episodes in season eight before she gone.

they didn't totally get rid of lex. He will be back in some capacity next season just not for 22 episodes. Lex finally finds the fortress with the help of Brainiac. He confronts clark there and says he knows his secret. Lex triggers a device that he thinks will leave clark under his control like a puppet but instead the fortress destroys itself leaving clark and lex in the snow.

I ordered season 5 on DVD yesterday. I think its one of the best seasons yet. Season 6 and 7 have a lot going for them as well. The regular cast has gotten stale and so characters like Green Arrow and Supergirl are fresh and keep me watching
