I love you. I love you more than I've ever loved anyone. You are the love of my life. There was a gingerbread house in a vineyard just for us.

If you had told me everything, even the parts you've never said out loud, I would have stayed. We could have figured it out together. I wasn't too scared to face this and I don't judge you. I would have fought for us with everything I have. I wish you would talk to me.

I have to learn how to give up on you.

"My first love is getting married." This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing, so I don't have a basis for comparison.

Mostly, I hope you do well for yourself, and that she does well by you. The romantic aspect of my love for you faded ages ago, thankfully, but I still and will always love you.

And my offer stands - if ever you need away time, our house is open to you.
