I ordered the HD boots last week. I had seen some reviews saying that they ran large, but most reviews said true to size, so I ordered a size 8. The size 8 came and was a bit too big; more than an inch of space in the toe. So I ordered a pair in 7.5 and they came today

Hey, speaking of, I may have an early Christmas present for you :D I got these awesome vintage Capezio mary janes with heels that were supposed to be 8.5, but really run like a small 8. The seller won't take them back; they had a vaguely worded returns statement that I interpreted optimistically apparently. :/ Would you like to take a look at them? If you don't like them or they don't fit it's no big, I'd just like a good home for them.

Oh I would love to have a look at them! I am an absolute FIEND for Mary Janes and I have been wanting a pair with heels :)

Well, they are Caro Heels, so they are quite wussy and short. But the shoes are dancing shoes, so they may be ideal to go out to Numbers with and such :D We shall see I guess! btw are you going to the party tomorrow?

It is my plan to go to said party tomorrow. Are you? Weeknight partying sure takes me back :D

is it also that they're cold - once the leather is warm they will loosen up a bit, right?

Yeah, they definitely loosened once I wore them for awhile. The shafts, though, are hopelessly too small and might need to be altered.
