Over the past week and a half or so, I've been trying to increase the amount of fat in my diet... and I've dropped another 5 or so pounds! So thanks, daleth93 for pointing that out. I've long been a believer in eating fat, and I thought I was getting enough, but adding a little bit more (as well as eating more pasta) seems to have pushed my caloric ( Read more... )

I just recently found out about the Shangri-La diet, which isn't really a diet as much as it's intaking extra virgin olive oil throughout the day. Since upping fat has been working for you -- have you considered just ingesting pure oil like that? I haven't read the shnagri-la book, but I thought i'd pass along the vague information I heard.

I've thought about just sucking down a spoonful of oil a day (because of the anti-inflammatory properties) but I think I'd rather eat it as part of something tasty :)
