I keep meaning to write more Sandsibs fic, so I've been rereading the relevant chapters of Naruto to give me some idea of what I want to write about. And it really struck me: here's why they're by far my favorite characters in this fandom to write about.

Oh, I loved this post, seriously. Especially the bit about Sandad. I prefer not to judge, but yes, he's a horrible character, I imagine. How could he do that to Gaara. HOW COULD HE---? And that quote from Law and Order was just perfect for Gaara (now I want to see Gaara-hug-fics as well. and um, speaking of hug-fics, you can read this sai-centric one right here. Short, and hilarious. :'>)

talking to Naruto can seriously cure every mental disorder ever (except for whatever the fuck Sasuke has) - Didn't you know? Sasuke has been hit by the irreversible revenge-no-jutsu. This is TRUFAX. Not even Naruto's special brand of Uzumakiniaty can cure that, it seems. /shot

And it took me a while to gather these recs because I had my entire hard drive (read: fanfictionanything fannish storage device) reformatted a few months back, but oh well: 20 Grains of Sand, everything written by firefly (I especially recommend A Remedy for Lassitude if you're in the mood

I'm starting to think it might be my job to scare people. >.>

Sometimes I feel like I'm judging Sanddad too harshly; I don't want to make him into the stereotypical Bad Dad character. ...But, yeah, honestly, I can't stand the guy. Anyone who hires his brother-in-law to kill his son is just DO NOT WANT to the extreme.

Gaara + hugs makes me think of the Sandsibs part of this.

That Sai fic was hilarious...

Sasuke's just... I don't even like him anymore, tbh. He's becoming not just a psycho, but an annoying psycho. See? At least Gaara was always an interesting psycho.

Someone who dreams of playing scary Pokémon games is bound to be scary as well. Ya know, it can't be healthy that you think of a baby psychopath so often XD just saying' :p

And that pic. Oh god. Lolx100. Did I say it was lolarious? Seriously. Oh god, not even a hug fic ~galore~ could be better than that. It took me multiple tries to get that picture to load (grrr, what is up whit that little red cross that shows up instead? >8/) but it was definitely worth it. 8D

(It had Itachi and Hinata and Neji and Deidara and Sasori and Sakura and Hanabi - all the characters I love. Oh god, how did you know?/hugsss *__* Something about Itachi there makes me want to hug him, too)

I don't know if you're familiar with Inuyasha or Fullmetal Alchemist, but this has Naruto as well, so maybe you'll like this♥

(So glad you liked the Sai fic. I loved the scenes with Itachi and Sasuke. Can I say, "CRACK! to the extreme?" 8p

Yeah, well your icon is... actually, it's very adorable. And I don't even ship that. Like, at all.

Lol. I'm scared to think what sort of life lessons Itachi would teach Sasuke. "And remember, sometimes people kill your entire family because they love you!"

Sasuke's just... ugh. I agree with what you said about Gaara being a lot more 3D. I feel like at the beginning of the manga, Sasuke had some of that, and he really was sort of a mysterious character. But now he's just... idk, it's like he's so far gone now that there's really nothing to be done with him. You get the impression that he really thinks about nothing except for getting his ultimate revenge on the shinobi world.

It is a very... cute-looking moodtheme. Because it's Hetalia, I guess? And everything in Hetalia is unreasonably cute?
