1. The two girls sitting behind me in European History literally cannot find England on a map.
They got it confused with Norway or somewhere. And I had to explain to them what was in the UK. I just. Gah. I'm scared for humanity. God, America. Wtf.2. There's like this weird thing that Hetalia fandom does to me, I swear. There keep being ( Read more... )

1.) Wooow they didn't know where the UK was?! I always find it really sad when fellow Americans my age can't find anything on world maps (Some people don't even know where all the STATES are, which is even more sad/pathetic.)

2.) I can be the same way about Hetalia pairings sometimes, although for me, I can only start shipping a pairing if there's some sort of thing in history to back it up *COUGHRUSSIAXAMERICAHELLYEAHCOUGH* I'm a major history nerd and that's why I love Hetalia so much. ^^;

1. Basically, they couldn't find the island as a whole, so really they couldn't find Britain, and then they weren't sure what was included in the UK aside from England. Which is pretty pathetic. Idk, I worry when people in college are doing this. If I were still in high school, maybe I wouldn't be so concerned, but it freaks me out that people can get into college knowing so little about the world.

2. I sort of agree with the needing history to back it up. I feel like I can't really enjoy it if it just seems totally random to me.

1. That's...pathetic. And here I was taking a quiz on countries the other day and was pissed I couldn't break 100...

2. I've just gotten into Hetalia recently, and don't really ship much from it yet, but I've had this happen with other fandoms. *cough see icon*

3. I'm not sure if I'd DO anything with it (since dear god my fic backlog is atrocious) but I'd like to read it. XD

I've written a bit of Sasori childhood stuff as 'dreams' (ficlets) for the last RP I was in, so I'd be curious to see what you've come up with for him.

1. Oh god, you might be like my dad. XD That's a little bit scary. But yeah. I mean, I guess that geography can be confusing just because people don't pay attention to it most of the time, but I was just horrified. We're not exactly talking about some little-known country here. >.>

2. It is sort of fun to suddenly 'discover' a new ship that you never really cared for before, isn't it?

Btw, you should know that Hetalia will consume your soul. Just a heads up.

3. Ah, so other people also have that same problem. What? I've always wondered....

Most of what I came up with for him is badness and woe. But you know. It's Sasori.

#1 That really is some achievement =_= But I get a feeling it's starting to be a problem in Europe, too.

#3 Posting costs nothing. It might be that your muse will revive then.

1. You know, come to think of it I would have expected that to be an "only in America" type thing. Idk if that's better or worse if it isn't.

3. That would be quite nice, actually, if my muse were to revive. I do feel a little bit silly about writing so much and then never finishing it. Okay, well it's a lot for me. Whatever.

1. I suppose that it is worse as it would indicate that laziness and neglecting proper studying is spreading all over the world =_=

3. Recently I finished two stories, both of them being around one year old. My muse was dead for some time, but in the end he (yes, my muse is a man) revived XD Good luck with yours.
