I love Gaara. X3

And lovely fanfic. I never gave any thought to how long he had spent dead before they revived him (although, reading those chapters of the mange, it sure FELT like a long ass time). I don't think I've ever read a fic about Gaara involving his death. Loved it <3!

Homg, I totally didn't know you were in this fandom. [/cluelessness]

Who doesn't love Gaara, seriously? I'm sure he'd be happy to know how many hours fangirls spend thinking about him.

it sure FELT like a long ass time

SHOUNEN ACTION SEQUENCE, ACTIVATE!

Anyway, I'm glad you liked it.

Ooh, this is rad! Such an interesting look into someting that's not really thought about much. I loved Temari's section in particular, switching between morbid detail and tenderness (the bit about his birth bawwww), though all three sections have wonderful characterisation. ♥

Oh god, I'm glad you thought the characterization was okay. I've decided that Gaara's really hard to write, especially since his personality changes so much. D<

Thanks~. Sandsibs are so much win, seriously. I really hope they show up again in canon, or I'll cry.

Wow, I really like Kankurou's segment of this fic. Especially this part:

the old puppet masters were like the parents he never had, and they taught him all that there really was to know: never believe in miracles, and always, always, look for who’s really pulling the strings.

And so it was, and so was he: never trusting, never believing, always glancing behind him

I haven't seen too many fic with Kankurou introspection, and I really like your take on him. The other characters' portions were good too, but his really stood out to me.

Much Love,
Marysia

Thanks a lot. There really aren't many Kankurou-centric fics out there, are there? I guess he's not bishieful enough, or something.

I enjoyed it. I don't see many Gaara pieces around anymore, let alone Sand Sibling fic, so it's good to see another one. And I do like this take on his formative years, and Kankurou's experiences with puppets, as well as Gaara's dealings with death. Very visceral. Lots of attention to detail. Very enjoyable. Reads easy, too.

Thanks <3. I'm trying to work on that visceral sort of writing, because it's traditionally something I suck at horribly.
