Things done this weekend:
1. Saw Camera Obscura
2. Got very drunk and saw some crazy bands at Star Bar, Judy Chicago included. Hey, where's
that girl?
3. Went to a Survivors of Suicide event to help cope with my recently finding about the true
nature of my Grandmother's death 19 years ago. It was cathartic, draining and the best
decision i've made in a long time. I hope to go to their monthly meetings.
4. Stayed home last night and watched my recorded Iowa game (go Hawks!) and Despereaux, Party
Girl (Hey! Hey! Hello!) and a bit of SNL before falling asleep.
5. Woke up early and grocery shopped and got a much needed, deserved and relaxing pedicure.
6. Doing laundry again but will finally be caught up.
7. Watching football, reading and generally relaxing today.
8. Packing for trip home for Thanksgiving tomorrow night.
Sigh...what an accomplished weekend really. I'm looking forward to going home for a few days even though the weather is going to be cold, crappy and snowy in IL. oh well..still will be good to see the fam.
