Ignorance is bliss?!! It oughta be painful!

So, I finally got around to printing out some of my digital pictures. I sent them off to Shutterfly, and I'm curious to see how they turn out. I wasn't overly impressed with their Linux upload app. It bombed out a couple times just uploading 94 pictures. At least it saved the queue, so I didn't have to deduce which ones were missed and pick ( Read more... )

I'm not surprised at all that Bill's over there. I figured I was pretty far behind the curve for this one. I'm usually one of the last people to jump on the bandwagon for social-networking type sites.

Most of my nature pics are on my deviantart page (http://williac.deviantart.com), but yeah I have a ton of stuff on flickr... Mostly pics of Columbus and local rock bands.

Flickr's genius. I mean, sure, you could talk about your daily commute (http://flickr.com/groups/59803715@N00/) with Japanese students just about anywhere, but it took Flickr to make it compelling.

I've seen del.icio.us mentioned quite a bit. It's okay, but I do prefer choosing trusted blog-o-rific sources really. Pictures have more of a shiny aspect to them for me, so I like the flickr evolving collaborative filtering effect.

I still think the "Spider Vs. Dragonfly" is my favorite from your deviantart stuff.
