So, I finally got around to printing out some of my digital pictures. I sent them off to
Shutterfly, and I'm curious to see how they turn out. I wasn't overly impressed with their Linux upload app. It bombed out a couple times just uploading 94 pictures. At least it saved the queue, so I didn't have to deduce which ones were missed and pick them out.
In the same vein, I subscribed to
flickr (though I haven't uploaded anything yet), on the strength of an
interview with the CEO. There's some really shiny examples of
collaborative filtering/
editing/
fiddling associated with it.
The company sounds delightfully clueful about how remaining open attracts people. Now to break out my pics of the naked Bicyclists in Fremont.
