Well, it gets even better when you get a free ticket to their concert. And what, you ask, could be even better than that? Finding out that they are even BETTER live.

So, last night I volunteered at the Kaiser Chiefs show. It was a blast from minute one when I met the security guards. We were best buddies from that point on- my table was set up next to the security folks checking ID’s and it was hysterical hearing them say “Let me see your ID…and don’t forget to check out what these fine ladies next to me have!” Or when they would randomnly yell “Free condoms!” along with us.
I adore the Kaiser Chief’s music, but I also adore their fans. I am fairly certain that I was one of the only Americans in attendance. My favorite was this poor Italian lad who couldn’t understand MY accent. And this other Italian guy who I kept chatting with while frantically trying to figure out where his hot hot HOT accent was from, only to have to finally blurt out “where are you FROM?!” Who knew I liked Italian accents? I didn’t! I also liked that the British folks would say “Cheers!” after I gave them a condom. So classy.
Anyway. Kaiser Chiefs rule. I mean, they have a song titled “Na Na Na Na Naa”. It doesn’t get much better than that.
Second volunteer show in 3 days, third night of awesome. Love this streak I’m on.
