you see what that shit does to people now that you're out of it all. Turns your best friends against you, makes you look like some kind of monster because you're not one of them anymore. They see you as slapping their life choices in the face. By you saying it is wrong and terrible for you, you are showing dissent in the circle. Casting doubt. Most people don't do drugs alone, those that do seem to die frequently. They need their support circle of other people doing it to feel "ok" in doing it.

Generally the 2 groups of people just don't get along. It comes to a head eventually, where each side takes the extremes. One side goes beyond pot, and the other side goes beyond tolerating, to damn near being an activist against it. Rarely do people stay in the middle for long.

I say, drink alcohal and be merry. Be smart, and you don't have to fear cops when it comes to alcohal. Beyond what's "right" and what's "wrong" and comparing it to other drugs. Its incomparable in that its not illegal. You won't get your shit jumped as long as you're not driving.
