Seeing green..
My internet connection seems to be acting up again, and it's really irritating the hell outta me man!
When the streamyx technician came over the last time he mentioned something bout this tall tree interrupting the wireless connection n stuff.
He even suggested we cut it down. Pfffftt.
He's crazee man!
There's no way in hell I'd cut down a tree to get better connection!
And what if the tree blocking the receiver tower (I main hentam, don't know what terms he used) isn't even the cause of the problem pun?
This somehow reminded me of my all-time favourite book as a kid.. The Giving Tree :-)

The story's basically about the relationship between an apple tree and a boy. The generous, loving tree gives everything it has to satisfy the wants of the boy. From branches to swing from to wood to build a house, the boy's demands become more and more as he grows older..
Until one day the boy wants to build a boat and the tree does the ultimate act of self-sacrifice and let's the boy chop him down and is left as a mere stump. The boy returns after many, many years as an old man and the tree feels sorry for it has nothing left to provide the boy with. But this time all the boy needs is a quiet place to sit, and the tree happily obliges.. *tear*
Okay fine, I sorta spoiled the storyy but go check out the book! I never got tired of reading it.. Hehe and I swear I'm gonna make my kids read it too! ;-P hahah (To Sha: and that dinosaur book bout recycling, as soon as I remember what it's called! Lol)
Went to Jaya One with Linda and Anisha today and bought myself a really pretty pink file for my dissertation papers and also green post-its that go sooo well with the new file and the stripey Smiggle ones :-D hee! And that my dear readers, shall be my motivation to continue writing my dissertation tonite... ;-)
Oh and knowing that in four weeks time I'll be on my way to you-know-where *blush*
