A/N: Wow, I haven't had a blurb this long in forever. Then again, I haven't had this much free time in months. So Hello! This was originally supposed to be a part of another fic but I thought, Hey, its perfect on its own. So I hope you enjoy it because I will try to finish a sequel tomorrow or something. And yes the title is from Just a Friend by Biz Markie.

It was no secret that somehow Rachel grew to have a crush on Head Bitch In Charge Quinn Fabray. Even before the babygate happened, Rachel was always kind and understanding towards the blonde. Occasionally, she would cry when Quinn's name calling and insults got bad but, nevertheless, she harbored feelings that were unexplainable.

Quinn, on the otherhand, was always oblivious until things hit her. Hard. After babygate, Quinn had realized that the person holding her hand as she walked out of the hospital back into Glee was Rachel. The one that patted her on the back and told her things were going to be okay after Shelby Corcoran walked out with Beth was Rachel.

It was strange, her friendship with Rachel. It took all summer for them to move from enemies/rivals to actual friends. What was even more strange was how dynamic their relationship had been. It was like a whirlwind that neither of them understood where they would be led.

However, their hangouts grew into a constant. After school, both of them had practice, Quinn would drive Rachel home and if they didn't have too much homework, Quinn would stay for awhile. Sundays were always their day together to relax or do homework together.

It was a warm Sunday this time around, leaving both girls to lounge on the couch and watch some movies. Rachel wore a pair of shorts and t-shirt as she bounded down the stairs after Quinn was let in by one of her dads.

"Wow, you should dress normal more often, you look better that way," Quinn said as she threw herself down on the couch. She settled for sweat capris and a white tee that day.

Rachel stuck her tongue out. "Well, I think you should dress a little more casual too. Wearing sun and baby doll dresses all the time makes you seem like a teenager from the 50's. You look a lot more like a teenager from our era if you wear sweats every once in awhile."

"Whoa, I don't think I can take advice from someone who dresses like an old lady," the blonde joked back. She reached out and grabbed a drink that was waiting for her on the coffee table before Rachel slapped it away.

"No soda for you!" the shorter girl immediately reprimanded. Quinn pouted as she retracted her hand, only throwing out a "Why?" Rachel scoffed and placed her hand on her hips. "Really?" her eyes told the blonde.

I could tear you down. Quinn smirked. "Aww, you baby," she cooed as she reached out both of her hands. "Come on." She wiggled her hands for Rachel to grab. Rachel remained firm in her position. Quinn pouted and gave her puppy eyes that surprisingly enough, rivalled Rachel's. The singer let out a long sigh before taking Quinn's hands.

With the strength she accrued in her last couple of years as a Cheerio, Quinn pulled Rachel right onto her lap with ease. The smaller girl squeaked as Quinn cradled her in her arms, her weight distributed across Quinn's lap.

"I am only kidding, Rachel," Quinn said as she wrapped Rachel in her arms and nuzzled their cheeks together. Rachel laughed at the annoying gesture as Quinn exaggerated it. "Come on. No one dresses better like an old lady like you do." Rachel gasped at the admission but found more offense to it. Quinn let out another big sigh. "I am only kidding! I swear. Well, kind of, but you love me for it anyways!"

Rachel jumped out of Quinn's arms and into the spot next to her. She furrowed her brows as if to contemplate something before her scowl turned into a deviant smile. Quinn's eyes widened as her heart began to pound inside of her. Rachel could always get me going.

"You are soo going to pay for that!" With that, the brunette launched herself at Quinn, knocking them both onto the ground. Rachel's fingers tickling every part of Quinn's body that she could reach. Quinn started squealing and laughing as Rachel pushed down on her.

"Stop! Rachel!" Quinn yelled through her fits of laughter. "I give! Okay?!" She laughed even harder as Rachel pretended not to hear her.

"What did you say?" Rachel asked as she grabbed Quinn's side.

"You look hot no matter what you wear!" the blonde yelled out. Rachel stopped tickling her and beamed. The smile on her face was brighter than anytime she had smiled in school.

Rachel looked down at Quinn, squirming beneath her with a smile on her face. I could lean down and kiss you right now. She threw back the thought to the depths of her mind. In seeing the blonde, hot and hair toussled, while she straddled her hips, Rachel couldn't help but swallow hard. Quinn quirked her eyebrows as if to challenge her to do something.

"Wow, you guys seem kind of stuck," Thomas, Rachel's Daddy, interrupted as he walked by. He gave Rachel a smirk before disappearing into the kitchen.

The heat rose to both of their cheeks as they got up off the floor. A tense air rose only for a moment before they both reminded themselves that they were friends. Quinn pushed down her white tee, which had risen up during their tickle war.

"Now, can I have that soda?" Quinn acted as if nothing changed. Rachel nodded with a smile. "Yay!" The blonde planted a kiss on her cheek before throwing herself back onto the couch and sipping her soda.

Rachel said nothing more as the adorable side of Quinn showed itself. The feeling of Quinn's lips against her cheek lingered. She was always happy to see this side of Quinn simply because the other girl was always so professional in school and around her peers. She popped in a movie and sat down next to Quinn.

It wasn't long before Quinn placed her head on Rachel's shoulder. Then Rachel reached around the blonde with one arm to pull her closer. Halfway through the first movie, Rachel, arm sore, laid her head on Quinn's lap. Halfway through the second movie, Quinn affectionately ran her hand through the brunette's soft locks as they watched the movie. She glanced down every so often and saw Rachel looking up, the both of them exchanging smiles that meant so much more. By the end of the second movie, they were curled up on the couch next to each other, spooning. And despite, Rachel's argument, Quinn remained the big spoon. They spent the rest of the movies in that position.

Yep, this was how Sundays always were.
