@#$%^&* Allergies

I'm ill. Very, very ill. I'm one of those people who didn't develop allergies until I became an adult, so I haven't had a lifetime of learning to assimilate and dealing with them. As a result, every time they flare up, it surprises me. We've been having rain all this week, and as a result, my sinuses have been killing me. BTW, I have no idea why ( Read more... )

Hope your eye sockets managed to rein in your brain ;) That's an awful feeling, isn't it? Mine always tries to squish through as well.

As for Columbus, he liked the people of Columbus but not the people in the office. Not to mention that the management positions he was supposed to be interviewing for were already filled. Go figure. So no to Columbus :(

I have terrible, horrible allergies. They kick in at their worst just around now. I put up with it for years and then finally went to an allergist. They tested me and it turns out that I am extremely allergic to tree pollen, especially oak. Guess what's blooming now?

But I'm also allergic to mold, which is why when it is raining so hard, my sinuses go nuts. Maybe you've got a similar issue going on?

I take Flonase for my allergies and it's a dream. I only have to use it once a day, and it takes care of that horrible swelling and stuffiness in my nose. I still ocassionally have to do an inhaler and use eye drops for the other impacts, but only during the worst of it.

This is my long-winded way of saying that I totally empathize. It is terrible to feel so gross. I hope you feel better!

Hugs,
Elia

You, my dear, are brilliant. I had never even considered the mold angle, but considering the chain of events that seems totally possible. Thank you for the info and I will definitely be looking into this stuff. You rock!
