It does my heart good to know that advertising companies are still stupid enough to use "Won't Get Fooled Again" by the Who to push products.

(Because, you know, there's no better signal to send to prospective consumers than "We're exactly like what we want you to discard in favor of us, but with violence.")

I got my PS3 a month ago today, in a semi-impulse buy that so far I have yet to regret. It's slowly replacing my PC as my primary music player (it's been so long since I've used anything but the PC, without headphones, that I'm noticing a hell of a lot of things in music that I never had) and as a game machine it's giving me exactly what I wanted ( Read more... )
