Just finished watching the two-part premiere, which appears to be a fusion of the Raft breakout story that launched New Avengers v1 (albeit scaled up with multiple prisons) with a more traditional "heroes respond to a single emergency" setup. A few random thoughts, relatively spoiler-free:
1) It's really weird to see Cam Clarke and Jeffrey Combs come in to do one or two lines, presumably to set up later appearances. The UPN Hulk series from the 90s has clearly tainted me, as I kept thinking "Combs is no Matt Frewer, but there are far worse choices out there for the Leader." Meanwhile, for as long as I can remember (at least to Priest's Deadpool run) Kurtwood Smith has been the voice of Constrictor in my head, and Clarke's take just didn't jive with how I've always seen the character.
2) Graviton as the Oh Shit-level threat was cool. I need to go back and re-read Tbolts v1...
3) Zemo! We had best get a Masters of Evil.
4) I really don't like the half-assed Robert Downey Junior impression for Tony's voice.
5) Banner being essentially out of the picture, with Hulk always in Hulk-mode, is interesting. It could provoke some neat stories down the line, but it feels vaguely like they just didn't want to have three scientists around at once.
6) I want so badly to hate that theme song, but I just can't.
7) BRING ON YOUNG JUSTICE!
