Monday, week 3
Things are starting to drag a little bit. Worked on my cover letters some today, showed my counselor how the various school app systems work, didn't accomplish a whole lot. Started a regular Excel class, because they felt I needed to be in one non-one-on-one situation or I'd never fit in, and because they think I rely too much on the mouse and could improve efficiency by learning more keyboard shortcuts. (It was Word or Excel, I chose Excel since I know less about it). Everyone else in the class has been through the basic non-visual PC training (Windows, Outlook and web navigation), so they didn't even turn their PCs' monitors on. Just used JAWS screenreader software with headsets. It was eerie.
