Well, I have a working 64-bit installation here, and yes it's fast. 2000*1500 onscreen also makes things look very very small indeed, but I like it. I don't know if I'll run it this hard all the time, but it's certainly nice to have the option ( Read more... )

While I was out of Edinburgh, the config fairies have turned up the resolution of my display.

I am happy about this.

Download clients are clearly like buses. I've been using an unflashy but perfectly functional Perl script for several years, and because I'm on a different machine and had to search for it, I found not one but two glitzy GUI clients to play with.
