Reality bites
Wow, we're all kind of having "a day," aren't we? I'm not going to stop the trend, unfortunately.
I'm back in CA. I got home very late last night and went straight from shower -> unpacking -> bed. The morning came too soon, and to top it off, sometime during the night one of my car's windows got smashed. I thought it was maybe over the weekend at first and I just hadn't noticed because I was so tired last night, but then I saw that my neighbor's car window directly opposite mine was also vandalized. He got it worse; his was actually completely smashed in, whereas mine is cracked all to hell but the glass is still in the frame. I have the World's Least Cluttered Car Interior so there's nothing to tempt. My working theory is that they were trying to get into his car and I got caught in the backswing.
So that sucked, and I haven't dealt with it yet because I had a million work things to do today in between catching up on vacation stuff and my usual Tuesday business. I've had the car for a year and two days without issue, so I guess I was due. Bah.
