Snakes and battery on crack!

My sister has come and gone. Her overnight visit was curtailed by incompetence at the car dealership, resulting in them giving her a rental car (free), so she came late, left early, and I didn't get to see the new car. Despite all that, we had a lovely time catching up on all of the Stargate I've recorded for her and, at long last, getting her into BSG (since SG-1's going, she'll need something else to watch, you know?). She took S1 home with her. *enables*
We also finally saw those damn, dirty snakes on that plane! It was everything I hoped it would be and more! Truly a quality film. We went to the Spectrum's 8:00 show in hopes of getting a good audience, but in a smaller theatre, we didn't get the level of opening night participation that some of you got to experience. Still, there were a few people who cheered along with us at The Line, and it was good times.
I'm way behind on LJ, not only because I've been off having sister time, but also because my battery spazzed out on me. It got overheated yesterday morning, which has happened before, and the solution is to turn off and unplug the computer, allowing both computer and battery to cool to room temperature. Well, I did that, but when I plugged it back in, the battery light continued to flash the overheated signal. I'm now running the computer plugged into the wall with the battery removed. Waiting on a response email from Dell. Snakes on a plane.
