I got the following e-mail from the head of the search committee for the job at Stanford:

Hi Susan,
Thank you for the nice email [I had sent an e-mail thank you note for my phone interview last week]. Do you have some time today or tomorrow that I can touch base with you to update you on our process?

Hopefully it's not too hasty, but it seems like it could be good news, I mean, if it was a thank you but we're no longer interested, wouldn't they just e-mail that instead of wanting to talk to me?
