I think its safe to say that this has been the best summer ive had in a long time. its been a summer that i needed. no work, no school, just...being. going to the beach a lot, laying out in a pool a lot, reading, hanging out, playing games. everything a perfect summer would entail for me.
im excited cuz im getting my tan back hehe. for a while there i was pretty pasty. my legs refused to even take on sun at first. but they listen now. buahaha. i want to be as dark as i was a couple of years ago, after i spent a week at the river. man i was daaaark haha. but it was awesome.
it was brandon and mine's 2 year anniversary in June. woooo! we went to san diego friday night and satruday went to sea world! excitement! i want to be a marine biologist hahaha. i wish i was better at the math. boo hiss to math. im sure its in there somewhere with the biology. but ya. it was fun. andthese 2 years have been awesome. i still cant believe its been 2 years hehe. time flies when youre having fun haha.
i went to the harry potter midnight party on friday night with beth :D. we got dressed up and got our faces painted witha lighting bolt and made wands and beth was in the trivia game. it was fun. then we got our books and came home and readthe first chapter together. i finished the book yesterday morning >_< what can i say i love to read and i love to read fun books. i was crying though haha. the book is very sad actually. but good. you should read it.
i got the new Dredg album finally. soo gooood. more catchy than their last one, but i love the guys voice. i think they were playing a show with coheed and cambria, but it was back east. i would have cried with happiness to have been at such a show.
my hips are doing much better, unless i pop them haha. so if im around you and i pop my hips slap me. please. i need to be completely better my september so i can teach and maybe take some classes again.
also starting soon ill have a new job, should be hearing from them this week. so ill be working full time, teaching part time, and interning this fall. wooooo. oh well. i guess thats why i was given this summer to relax, so i would be well rested for whats to come.
My dad goes in for his splenoctomy this friday. so my weekend will be spent at the city of hope. i hear that their cafeteria actually has good food though. . . and im thinking of bringing my laptop the day my dad gets the surgery so we can watch some movies on it-kind of a distraction from where we will be.
i suppose i should stop rambling on like this. peace out.
