Ever written a fic that didn't fit in any boxes? Maybe you have a Merlin fic that deals with the adventures of a random character on the other side of the country from Camelot? Or perhaps one of your original characters took on a life of her own and insisted you write about the time before she met Sam and Dean. At some point it stops feeling like fanfic - but it's not quite original fic either. semihomemadefic caters for just such hybrid writing.
The comm is a bit quiet at the moment, but it's a great concept and I feel it needs more love! (I'm not affiliated with the comm in any way, I just discovered it and liked the idea a lot.)
