My facking luck...
So I've spent the most of the last year frustratedly sitting around, unable to find a job, and desperately wanting to get out of the house. Of course, now that I've made pretty serious plans to head elsewhere for school in a matter of weeks (and in fact just got a preliminary acceptance today), people finally start fucking calling me for interviews! And for the one job I wanted to work more than anything, for that matter! Well, I suppose I'll go in for the interview and try to get at least a month or so of experience in the field...
Also, I finally was able to get my 'yote on for a bit of hiking and dirt-road driving up in the mountains, accompanied by my mother and our dog. A good time was had, and the cooler air was very welcome! The four-legger seemed to enjoy the trip, though not as much as I would've expected--she did manage to tire herself out nicely, though, and fell asleep whilst sitting up in the backseat of the car on the way back! Hopefully more hiking will follow soon...plans to visit Yosemite with my friend seem to have fallen through, but other local opportunities abound.
